If you’re used to calling O’Hare-Midway Limousine Service, or any other Chicago limo company for transportation, you are likely accustomed to the normal issues associated with a call center; hold times, harried operators, and occasional inconsistencies. There are remedies that companies employ, like increasing staff, and opening online booking tools, but there needs to be a more “far reaching” and permanent solution. In our constant effort to employ new technology, O’Hare-Midway developed OML Connect, a tool that allows users to bypass the “call in” and connect directly with a dispatcher.
The simple signup process takes only minutes, and once an account it created, all future reservations can be linked to the application. The rest is easy. Your smartphone will allow you make changes, notify the dispatcher to send your car, and message the dispatcher with last minute details. The dispatcher can message you details you need, your vehicle info, and even a picture of your chauffeur with his name and additional details.
OML Connect is a fairly unique product in the limousine industry, but it is a solution with a promising future. In the coming months, it may not be as unique as it is now.
