It’s For a Good Cause

For years, The Walter and Connie Payton Foundation has been doing great work helping the less fortunate find stability in their lives. The foundation continues to create positive opportunities for children, veterans and those in need through a number of projects and events throughout the year. The annual Tailgate Party and Toy Drive is a prime example of the Foundation’s work and impact.

Some of the projects the Walter and Connie Payton Foundation has spearheaded include:

  • Walter Payton Man of the Year Award which recognizes the charitable and volunteer acts of an NFL player
  • The Veterans Project which helps provide a safe, healthy living environment for veterans
  • The School Supply Drive which helps provide much-needed school supplies for less fortunate children throughout the state of Illinois
  • Holiday Giving which helps to provide holiday gifts to children and veterans throughout Illinois

The Foundation has many big projects on the horizon and hopes to enact even more positive change in the lives of the less fortunate.

Watch the Bears in Action

If you’re a Bears fan, you can watch the Bears take on the Colts, tailgate with your friends and put your money towards a great cause, all at the same time. There will be tailgating, the Saloon will serve food and alcohol and you can mix and mingle with your fellow Bears fans throughout the event.

Enjoy the Additional Activities

The Tailgate Party and Toy Drive offers admission for $10 per person. Once inside, there will be celebrity bartenders, a silent auction, a magician, and of course, the game playing on every television. Not to mention, if you bring a toy to donate, you will be entered in a drawing to win free pizza from Rosati’s for a year.

There’s no better way to cheer the Bears on to victory against the Colts on Sunday, October 9th than at the 7th annual Walter and Connie Payton Tailgate Party and Toy Drive.
